The band had a terrific debut at the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo. Our daily schedule was packed with events. Highlights included: featured entertainment at the RNSIT Media Launch event on June 26th, preview show on June 29, Tattoo Festival concerts on June 30 and July 6th in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, daily Tattoo performances for an audience upwards of 8,000 (June 30 – July 7th) , command performance on the HMCS Preserver in Halifax Harbour on Canada Day, Tattoo pipers party feature act on July 6th (with an able assist on bodhran by a member of the RCMP!) and an afternoon performance for sick children at IWK Hospital on July 7th. The production staff had high praise for the band and we hope to return to Halifax again sometime. The band wants to especially thank our fellow musicians and dear friends Andrea Wirth (percussion), Chris Myers (guitar and vocals) and Diane Myers (vocals) for joining Fellswater on the international stage. We couldn’t have done it without you all. We would also like to thank Director Zeph Caissie and his dancers from Diaga Irish Dance for accompanying Fellswater in our Tattoo performances and Festival concerts.
